The tutor will focus your children’s learning on where they need it and customize lessons to target areas of weakness. Parents can track improvements via weekly progress reports. What to expect

Here’s a look at what to expect when you sign up for a tutor-guided course.  The course will start in 24 to 48 hours after you sign up for it.  The best way to start is to take a diagnostic test for the grade for which you sign up.  After your child submits answers to the test, a tutor will provide you with feedback on your child’s strengths and weaknesses as well as customized recommendations to help you and your child personalize online learning.

This is an asynchronous online tutor-guided course in which a tutor will provide support and answer questions via email only.  The tutor will focus your children’s learning on where they need it.  The tutor will customize lessons to provide desired remedial or enrichment opportunities.  Parents can track improvements via weekly progress reports.

In addition, you’ll receive a full access to all materials for one grade only.  If you want to move ahead or switch to a different grade you’ll need to get a new subscription.   All components of the course including videos, guided practice, assisted practice, benchmark practice and teaching components are sequentially numbered in every unit.  It is recommended that you follow the sequence of each unit to help your child complete the entire course.  Each lesson builds off the next, and the included videos and guided practice are sure to help your children feel confident about learning and mastering the concepts in each grade.

The most important step you can take is to help your child establish a daily routine for learning and practicing mathematics. Younger children may need some extra guidance from you in following the sequence of lessons and completing guided practice and other exercises.  It’s also very important to maintain regular communication with your tutor about your child’s progress. The tutor is there to help you help your child succeed.
